FAQ

Permanent jewelry is a type of jewelry that is welded together instead of secured with a clasp or hook. It's typically worn on the wrist, ankle, or neck, and is intended to be worn all the time.

We offer a variety of chain styles in sterling silver and 14k gold filled. Looking for something else? Send us a message!

While our welded jewelry is high quality and designed to be long-lasting, nothing in life is truly permanent. The chain is securely welded without a clasp, so you don’t have to take it off unless necessary. However, like all jewelry, it is delicate and can be removed if needed!

If you ever need to remove it, you can easily cut the jump ring with scissors and have it re-welded if you'd like to wear it again! Our re-welding fee is just $10.

At Hometown Honey, we want to ensure your chain stays beautiful for as long as possible. With proper care, our chains are designed to resist tarnishing and fading. It's important to keep chemicals away from your chain—whether it’s oil, lotion, spray tan, bug spray, or sunscreen. If you do apply any of these products, rinse your chain with water afterward. A simple rule of thumb is to wash your chain whenever you wash your hands, as this helps maintain its gold plating.

All sales are final on permanent jewelry. If for some reason your piece were to break, we will happily repair the piece for you at no cost!
